American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and Abbott Nutrition have had a continuing partnership since 1979.  Thanks to this longstanding collaboration, two key AAP continuing medical education programs are celebrating milestones.
 

The AAP Pediatrics in Review and Education Program -- known as PREP The Curriculum^TM -- marks its 30^th anniversary in 2009.  PREP The Curriculum comprises the monthly journal Pediatrics in Review^TM (available in print and online at www.pedsinreview.org ) and its companion, the PREP Self-Assessment ( www.aap.org/profed/prep.htm ).

Using PREP as a model, the AAP developed a similar two-product program in neonatology known as NewReviewsPlus -- that will celebrate its 10^th anniversary in 2010.  The NeoReviewsPlus curriculum comprises the monthly journal NeoReviews^TM (available online only at www.neoreviews.org ) and its companion, the NewReviewsPlus Self-Assessment. 

Abbott Nutrition sponsors PREP The Curriculum subscriptions for pediatrics residents and NeoReviewsPlus subscriptions for neonatology training fellows throughout all years of training.

Pediatricians and neonatologists use these products to stay up to date on best practices in neonatal and child health, as well as to prepare for and maintain American Board of Pediatrics certification.
